Carmel Burila Villar serves as Stewardship and Resource Development Officer at Union Theological Seminary. Before her engagement at UTS, she served as writer-producer at Far East Broadcasting Co., and translator-editor at Philippine Bible Society. Her work at PBS includes translation of Children Bible and Full-Life Study Bible into Cebuano and as contributor in The Bible: A Glimpse at Every Book. She also served as writer-editor of GoandTell Publication in its Value Education textbooks. As convenor of Jose Andres Sotto Center for Pastoral and Spiritual Care of Union Theological Seminary, she leads in raising awareness on Mental Health.
